Sales of homes during the first six months
of 1939 have increased 50 per cent above the corresponding period
of 1938, R. F. Galli, builder, announced yesterday.
"Perhaps significant," sadi Galli, "a much larger
percentage of the 1939 homes was sold to younger couples."
Young couples are steadily finding that they can purchase homes
with rent money, he added, and young wives are surprised that
new homes assure modern conveniences.
